“The TRUTH is, that all of the ‘STUFF’ here on earth we work so hard to buy and accumulate … does not mean a thing.

At the end of the day … people will be cleaning out our ‘STUFF’, going through our ‘STUFF’, figuring out what to do with all of our ‘STUFF’…

This ‘STUFF’ we’ve accumulated in our life.

The only thing of VALUE that remains, are the MEMORIES and what we deposit into others.

May we all learn to spend less time accumulating ‘STUFF’ and spend way more time making MEMORIES.

This is called “Mind Changing Concept” Changing the conventional way of thinking. When a lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her: “Please be civilized! This is a robbery and not a rape!”This is called “Being Professional” Focus only on what you are trained to do!When the bank robbers returned home, the younger robber (MBA-trained) told the older robber (who has only completed Year 6 in primary school): “Big brother, let’s count how much we got.”The older robber rebutted and said: “You are very stupid. There is so much money it will take us a long time to count. Tonight, the TV news will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!”This is called “Experience.” Nowadays, experience is more important than paper qualifications! After the robbers had left, the bank manager told the bank supervisor to call the police quickly. This book was recommended on the Reddit app comment section and here goes my review of it. By seeing the title I assumed that it will be a romantic flick but I was wrong. This is about discovering oneself as a person holistically and ensure to live life to the fullest. Though the narrative resembles some of ‘P.S l love you’ and ‘My grandmother asked me to tell you sorry’ story line. I thoroughly enjoyed this book for its ending, which will surprise the readers. For this reason alone, I am smitten by Arthur Pepper.

Endowed with calmness,
the ‘is-ness’ sucks to contemplate,
of its discriminatory wisdom,
like droplets in the water,
flows through maze of illusions,
their existence is easily trapped,
but operates and remains part of the genesis,
protruding now and then to follow,
under the warp of misnomers,
hide and seek is played with a burning desire,
masking the true purpose of human life,
until the ignorance is removed,
with self knowledge of ignited ‘I’,
that is when this loop of life gets dissolved.

Breathe in the hold,

Focus on the expansion and contraction,

Check the impulse of eternal robustness,

While space discover within one self,

The ever presence omniscient existence,

Away from its reflected prefixes,

Pave ways for a peaceful banters,

Thus erodes the egoistical identity “I” in the flame of spiritual wisdom.

Living with the Himalayan Masters by Swami Rama

I have come across this book on several occasions in the book shop’s but my interest was laid aside at that time. And here am trying to brood over missing such a rare commodity earlier. This runs as an upliftment memoir of an ascetic code of conduct, existence and its pursuance. From microcosmic to the macro level of spirituality is explained in the layman language. I find Swami Rama’s point of views pensively accompanied by his true quest for wisdom. 🙏

I do not know what made me to pick this book, but it reveals some amazing tips for mirror analysis of life. The metaphorical use of Nachiketa story is a masterstroke in this book of factual events. It is very common to hear from a spiritual or religious people of its wisdom, but uncommon to evaluate of their eminence in the subtlety of life. Let me divide my insights into two categories for a better comprehension. Firstly, if the interest is rhetorical then the questions raised by Nachiketa will be assured to convey the intended message to the right audience. The inquisitive attributes of Nachiketa are one of a kind and of a higher nature, so isn’t fathomable to all. Secondly, if pursued as an allegory, then continuous reflections are to be instigated for individual moral upliftment. Hence, the following statement explains it all and thankful to have introduced to this beautiful teaching of Kathoupanishad. “The consciousness of individuality is always searching and seeking to find the right combination to move towards the consciousness of unity”.
